Asexuals are the people in society who don’t fling themselves at some random they meet, hook up with them only to break up with them one week later and cry on their friend’s shoulder before repeating the entire process once more.
Asexuals have the grand position to sit out and laugh at the inane pattern of society. don’t experience sexual attraction.
Alice, I must ask okay I know raving is all about plur And everything but someone WHo has NEVER been to a rave and/or DOesn't follow plur Should i be shamed i mean he called shuffling (foot dancing.. COMPLETELY SERIOUSLY) and calls his friends rave bunny no idea what the rave scene is about.. I he NEVER been to one but goes off as if he has been to millions.. (keep in mind i have never been to one but i know quite a bit...
I’m having trouble reading through this ^_^; but I have the general idea.
PLUR is an idea of respect and kindness/compassion, in my eyes. Not necessarily a mantra, a way of life, or a description of someone’s character. Sort of a saying to give you an idea of the right attittude. I know a lot of wonderful people who choose not to even believe in the idea of PLUR.
People who pretend to rave…just want to rave. Something attracts them to it. Whether it’s the kandi, or the shuffling, or whatever. I also know a lot of people who shuffle and/or wear ‘kandi’ who don’t even really have an interest in going to real raves…but lying is something else.
I knew a girl in high school like that. She wore arms full of kandi she had made for herself and never went to any parties and refused to trade with people. I never confronted her, told her it bothered me..nothing. She just wanted to be part of something she didn’t have access to, that I did. Maybe you can make kandi and go to your first raves, together? I would try to show him my side. What I know and feel about the rave scene, and just try to positively influence the direction he’s going in. He’ll never know or learn unless someone shows him.
They’ll grow out of it, or decide to become a real part of the rave scene. Try not to let it get to you too much.
